It is extremely frustrating when you constantly send out resumes and hear nothing back.

It was in this frustration that when a NF company called and offered me a job, I took all of 20 seconds before jumping on the opportunity...(Read more)

I had an amazing time right after school finished as I came home with absolutely zero responsibilities. Visiting numerous friends, checking off 2 more American states and also checking off a few things from my to-do list was an excellent way to spend a few months.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. Running out of money and feeling like it was time to gain some responsibility, I started applying to various jobs...(Read more)

I looked up an antonym for groundbreaking and came up with 'old hat'. Well, ok, this update will be completely 'old hat' to plenty of people who think nothing of heights, climbing and scaring themselves.

Myself on the other hand, have talked about and pondered climbing a water tower for a long time. If I had a bucket list, climbing a water tower would be on it. So I was glad to go out and finally overcome those fears.

The next weekend, we were blessed with the presence of our friend on one beautiful summer day. After grabbing a few 40's and making our way over to this amazing, chateau-like, apartment roof.

Friend and Don were talking about women and other manly men things, so I took to something better through shimmying up the side of one of the roof peaks until I could straddle the top.

It was a pretty amazing view:

From there, I took a picture which is on my 'top 10 favourite shots of 2008' list.

The single house left on the block:

It shows something which I point out to people whenever I drive in this city: to try and imagine what it used to be like. That there used to be a dense colony of houses on that block; now only one or two remain.

Our friend finished his Schlitz 40 quickly, so we had to climb back down so that he could grab another.

The night ended after some strange building consisting of a sea of shoe piles.

I was going to go on this huge spiel about how Cleveland has made its way out of my bottom five cities list based on that hospital from the '2 days in Ohio' road trip and this baseball trip I took with Rye, Mikey, AI & Clarkman.

Then while I was writing that update, I was reminded about not being able to find a liquor store, terrible nightlife and the fact that Cleveland just brings me down.

So it may just remain on that list for the immediate future.

It seems like I've been working on this update forever; but with visiting a former Robin Givens location, a stunning hospital and a favourite city, I got just a little carried away.

~5500 words & 68 pictures = Day 2 in Ohio.

Also, I changed my mind and I'm going to convert and use tips like this1 now.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

1 - Simple footers instead of using javascript.

I'm leaving for the night ferry in 30 minutes and I don't know if I'll have access to a PC tomorrow, so here are my picks so you don't think I altered them after the playing of the first games tomorrow.

Elias, Langenbrunner, Demitra, Ryder, Wheeler, Lucic, Federov, Sundin, Briere, Madden, Pyatt
