This is the first part. It explains why the heck I found myself in Boston & although uneventful, it details an good day spent in Central Massachusetts.

I found a picture of this staircase a couple of months ago. It was located at a nearby Provincial Park, so my friend and I checked it out after work.
We even saw a White-winged Crossbill along the way. Afterward, I got to do something which I typically don't do here - drink beers in an abandoned building.
Nothing like using your half-depressed camera flash to find your way around a building.

Instead of going home after the last peninsula, I went on a short journey around another. It was one of the areas I wanted to see most in this province, but I would have killed for more time.
Anyway, it's short, so check it out.
It was around the end of April & the weather was growing so exquisite that I was doing things like partaking in evening jaunts just to enjoy the conditions.
One night I clambered through some forest trails behind the local CBC building here. I emerged at the top of a small cliff which afforded a great view over the city. I continued along this ridge, going across a road and behind a Senior's Complex:
I showed my friend Steve another of the pictures while joking about the fact that one of our 4 skyscrapers was in the picture; much to his amusement...
...the funny thing was that the next day I was gawking at the other buildings I thought were skyscrapers, and I think we might actually only have 2 (skyscrapers).
