I was running out of lights which I could reach on my own.
This didn't meant that I was nearing the end of the list of lights, but just that I would require some outside help.
I'm very happy that I got over my fear, asked for some help, and saw a light which I haven't seen in many pictures anywhere else.

There is no time to rest. The hellacious winters here make me treasure every single summer weekend.
In addition I had been away for 3 straight weekends, so Nicole was fixing to go somewhere by the time I returned...and so, we went north.
The two of us drove that old 430 up the Northern Peninsula.
A new light had appeared on the provincial list, so we briefly stopped about halfway up the coast (see above picture). It may not win any beauty contests, but it marks an important strait & it's even sort of neat for being modern.
It also helps that the light is located about 90 seconds off the main highway. Right about where I started onto the ice for that winter crossing light I did.
Anyway, we continued north to a wreck which I've wanted to see for a long time. Check that out.
We didn't drive home after that boat & the next part should come within a day or two.
