After traveling about as far north as you can get, as far east as you can get and two different distant instances of south; my American friend & I had a relaxed weekend where we checked out some nearby stuff before her departure.
Also, Steve & 23 were at a party and heard some dude guys talking, "Yeah man! That concert was wild!" ... "For sure! Springsteen at the Palace of Auburn Hills!"

Although every time I think of The Boss now, I think of this...and Steve asking if that's what The Fondeler's fantasy is like.

No I'm not abandoning my rule of updating stuff in order of time, but this is a good one.
It came to about 2 a.m. and we all emptied out of the Temple bar. Chad & UJ got in their car to cuddle or something when a first car zoomed by, going maybe 60mph? Narrowly missing Chad's car, which shook from the passing object.
Chad & UJ then got out of the car as a second car zoomed by. The third car either decided to turn at the light or lost control and did a 180, slamming back end first into the American Hotel to a course of ooooooooooooohs from the 15 or so people in front of the Temple. I don't know how fast you can hit something and get out of the car, but it seemed like they hit the American Hotel going fast.
About 10 seconds passed before we heard the driver attempt to start the car and the resulting chug-chug-chug-chug (loud clunking noise resulting in the car going nowhere). The 4 people in the car get out and we hear the guy start yelling and cursing about backing into the American Hotel (the building he hit). The two other cars come back and they all start to argue and rush out of the car so they don't have to blow (i.e. DUI test).
Anyway, maybe a minute passed before 2 cop cars pulled up, followed by 3 more. We watched that for a bit, before deciding to get the hell out of Dodge.
Chad & UJ came back to our 4 star hotel for a bit before going home.They decided to drive back by the Temple and there were no cars, no people, nothing.
