Another state highpoint and one of the better things I've visited in a while.

Day 4.

Sure. There were 5 building failures this day, but was it still one of the top 100 days of my life? Definitely. Top 50? Maybe. Top 25? There's an outside chance.

Any day where you get to see the greatest team in the bigs, is a good day.

I'm not making a little image for this update, as it is a simple one to get the groundwork in place and lead to bigger and better things.

Day 1 of my October trip to Maryland & Philadelphia.

Back to back updates? Can I make it three days? I wouldn't hold your breath!

After starting the day by waking up cold in dreary conditions, I ended up having a pretty good day 2.

It's really starting to bother me how I'm consistently 6 months behind my real life - especially as I go places and people are excited to see the pictures immediately sometimes; so I'm going to try and do better, but who knows, it's not like I've been able to trim down the gap in the past 2 years of trying...

I wanted to utilize one of the last few warm weekends we would have, so I spent the majority of it driving to Southern Labrador and back.

I came across a fair amount of things and adventure which I wanted to share; so I decided to break it down into a day1 / day 2 type update.

Here's day 1.

This is one of those updates that isn't overly interesting, but something I just wanted to share because I enjoyed the location.

It's short though, so as Llewelyn would say, stop your hollering.

You may remember the above picture from an update chronicling Highway 404 from September 2009. I expressed my interest in the sandbar extending to the distant reaches of my vision, and that I planned to come back and walk out there in the future.

I was going to come here and hike to the end without the promise of a rësëttled community anyway, so anything more was simply icing on the proverbial cake.

Points for the Brook.

On just the second day here, I noticed one of these tunnels going under a road somewhat near my work.

I don't know exactly why I like them, but I simply do. They're different, they serve the great function of keeping pedestrians off the road and frankly, I just like tunnels.

The only other city I can remember seeing anything remotely similar to this is in Montreal.

Uniqueness, function AND weird areas? Yep, 1 point to C.B..

Anyway, I'm currently working on a picture heavy update. It should be done in a couple days. Go get some sleep and cheer on the Czechs tomorrow.

A couple friends and I took a boat over to a random island with some history this past summer.

I was hungover when I composed this write-up and I'm feeling ill today as I proofread. So please forgive me if it's incoherent, boring or anything else undesired.
