There's no chance I'm doing work on a day like today.

So here's an update!

I've had a few people ask me if we've got snow yet...

We sure have. A couple of weeks ago we were over in Prince Edward Island and it was only raining. As soon as we got to the Cobequid Mountain Pass (the start of Nova Scotia); things got interesting. Suddenly we were enveloped in quite the snowstorm and the Intrepid wasn't moving much faster than 50km/hr. A trip that normally takes 55 minutes, took 2.5 hours that day. It wasn't fun. Eventually we got to Halifax Cole Harbour and went out for the night.

The conditions didn't last very long though; I drove 1.5 hours the next day and there's no snow on the ground today.

Not the weekend that just passed, but the weekend before that was spent in Halifax enjoying Hurricane Noel. Click here to read about the adventure.

Update: I had something in the works, but I want to go re-shoot it this weekend. So there should be an update Sunday, Monday or Tuesday.

I spent my thanksgiving down in Maine, completing my second state highpoint - Mount Katahdin. It proved to be a lot harder than Hoosier Hill.

The Traverse City State Hospital, aka. The Northern Michigan Asylum. We checked this place out back in the summertime & it was just too good for me to leave it sitting amongst my thousands of images. Since I have no idea when I'll make it back - I hope you enjoy.
